Jaime is from Madrid (Spain), and he is currently in the final year of the MChem programme with Industrial Experience at the University of Manchester. As part of his degree, he completed a 12-months placement at Syngenta (Jealott's Hill), where he joined the Lead Generation Team, working on the early-stage development of novel, sustainable herbicides. Upon his return to Manchester, Jaime joined the Crisenza group for his Master's project: this focuses of the development of novel electrochemical strategies for the radical activation of C(sp3)-N bonds.

In his free time, Jaime enjoys relaxing with a good movie, spending time with friends, and traveling to warm and sunny places.
