Hugo is a French visiting undergraduate student from Polytech Clermont in Clermont-Ferrand. He is currently completing his master's degree in biology, but – to gain further expertise, knowledge and hands-on laboratory experience in chemistry – he decided to join the Crisenza group for a 5-month placement. During his stay, Hugo will work on new photochemical strategies for the polyfunctionalization of alkynes.

Hugo is a passionate football fan (Allez l'OM!) and sports enthusiast. Outside of the lab, he enjoys spending time with friends and watching series.
