Anna Passmore

MChem Student

Anna grew up in Birmingham, and she is currently completing an integrated master's degree at the University of Manchester. In her 3rd year, she did an industrial placement at Lubrizol (Blackley), working in the synthetic group of their hyperdispersants branch. There, she was involved in the development of polymers for use as dispersants in paints, inks, and coatings. In 2022, Anna joined the Crisenza group for her master’s project, which focuses on the design of novel reagents for the sequential activation of C–O and C–H bonds, under photochemical conditions.
In her free time, Anna enjoys taking and teaching dance classes, as well as watching horror films, and playing the piano.
